Texas Stadium ... Time to let 'er go

Just took a media tour of Texas Stadium. It was billed as the last public tour at the landmark stadium -- where, as fans like to say, God liked to watch his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, from the hole in the roof. The structure is scheduled to be imploded April 11, a Sunday morning.

Here are some pix from my cellphone, showing:

Please take a moment and enjoy whatever memories you have of Texas Stadium ... before it looked like this.

Duane Thomas TD run for the first touchdown in Tx Stadium as the 'Boys beat New England 44-21 in rout to our first Super Bowl Championship.

Believe it or not, the TRE will actually be running that Sunday!
Although DART's 306/307 buses won't, it's only 2-1/2 miles from the South Irving transit center to UTD and Tom Braniff Dr. - easily within biking range and just barely within walking range.

Yeah, but unfortunately the implosion is scheduled for 7 a.m. The first trains don't get going until after 10-ish, right?

still love every scrap I have left in my stash and ever project I've done with it! Thanks for sharing.
People are always telling you what to do, but what's right for them may not be right for you.
