I-35W ramp to U.S. 287 closed in Fort Worth -- Decatur Cutoff.

I35w_2 The northbound Interstate 35W ramp to northbound U.S. 287 in far north Fort Worth -- aka the Decatur Cutoff -- is closed until about 4 p.m. today for a pavement overlay.

The closure is for routine maintenance and care of the road, and shouldn't create much of a problem for I-35W through traffic. However, for those wishing to get on U.S. 287, a bit of a detour is required. Stay on northbound I-35W and go past U.S. 287, then go to the North Tarrant Parkway exit, cross over the freeway to the southbound side then double back to U.S. 287.
