Just five days after stepping down as North Texas Tollway Authority board chair, Arlington businessman Victor Vandergriff appears to be ready to run for the state Senate, according to the Star-Telegram's Aman Batheja. He hasn't officially declared, but he already has an endorsement from the incumbent, state Sen. Chris Harris. Vandergriff remains chairman of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.
