My only protest to camera monitoring is that it is black and white. I have been ticketed by slowing and coasting through a light when there were no other autos present. The system does not take into account the thousands of decisions that metroplex drivers make every day that work to keep traffic flowing smoothly on a timely basis. This is the real force in traffic safety - the intelligent, responsive driver.
