Don't want to park at Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game? Catch a bus in Fort Worth

Parkingno75Who wants to pay $30 to $75 for football game parking? Not you? Well, the Fort Worth Transportation Authority is offering an option for you. If you're planning to go to the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving game against the Miami Dolphins Thursday but would like to skip the hassle of parking, a Cowboy Coach shuttle service is available near downtown Fort Worth. For details on how to catch the buses, visit the T's website. Round trip fare is $10 per person, plus a $5 per-car parking fee to park on the south side of T&P Station.

 
Some other potentially helpful information T services during the holiday week:

  • The Trinity Railway Express will not operate Thursday. Nor will the T's bus service, mobility-impaired transit service (MITS) or Molly the Trolley.
  • Friday, the TRE will operate on a modified Saturday service with extra trains, The T’s bus service will follow a weekday schedule, AND there will be free bus rides after 4 p.m. to encourage people to take transit to the Parade of Lights in downtown Fort Worth.

I did not miss the football game since I used this mode of transportation. I arrived at the stadium just on time. What I liked most was the fact that I arrived in my destination without worrying car parking spaces and car parking fees.
