I'm in sunny Hurst this morning, attending Tarrant County Commissioner Gary Fickes' annual Northeast Tarrant Transportation Summit. The subjects of the day are many. A trio of speakers from Fort Worth, Denton and Dallas have delivered an update on efforts to connect the region by rail. And now, a panel is going over several big-dollar transportation projects that are moving forward.
