Ride the T for free on Thursday with the donation of a can good to the Tarrant Area Food Bank

Riders can ride the T for free one way on Thursday if they hand over a can good for the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Hand over two food items, such as a can good and a box food item, and that could be good for a free local "Day Pass" that can be redeemed for unlimited rides that day on any of the T's regular or express buses in Fort Worth or Richland Hills.

The Ride for a Can program is not valid for Mobility Impaired Services or Trinity Railway Express services. Cans are not redeemed on the train and local day passes are not valid for train service. Riders can call customer service at 817-215-8600 or visit www.the-t.com for more information. -- Mitch Mitchell
