Free bus rides for voters on election day

Votercard@gdickson

On election day, a voter registration card works just like a bus pass in Fort Worth.

Residents can ride T buses for free on Tuesday by presenting their voter registration cards, Fort Worth Transportation Authority spokeswoman Joan Hunter said.

The offer is good all day on all regular and express bus routes in Fort Worth and Richland Hills. However, the deal doesn't apply to Mobility Impaired Transportation Service (MITS) or the Trinity Railway Express.

For more information visit the T's website or call 817 512 8600.
