Poverty-hating Haltom City televangelist Murdock's $1.5 million mansion for sale

Haltom City Cashevangelist Mike Murdock, who asks donors to send him money by assuring them God could possibly, if things go right, Mike Murdockreward them with big bucks, is selling his Argyle estate, valued at $1.5 million by the appraisal district.

A quote attributed to Murdock goes like this: “You will never become rich, until you hate poverty.”

His mansion - which includes an indoor fish pond, 3,000-square-foot tennis court, game room, water fall, jetted tub, four media rooms, swimming pool, exercise room, guest quarters and other amenities on 6.89 acres - certainly screams “I have something of an aversion to non-richness.” Murdock Manor

Perhaps not surprisingly, Murdock, who goes by the moniker “Dr. Mike Murdock” on television  — it’s an honorary degree — is trying to make a little profit on his 9,825-square-foot manor.

Its listed price is $3.2 million. (See video below for a virtual tour.) If you're lucky, he may also toss in a copy of his $10 Twitter tips book.

Murdock’s website for his church, The Wisdom Center, doesn’t indicate where MM may be moving.

Still, consider this, potential homebuyers: Not only do you get a home with five balconies, four gazebos and a sunken fire pit, you’ll be able to show others that they don't have to wait for heavenly rewards.

No matter how you raked in the money.

God Bless you Dr Mike Murdoch. You are doing an awesome work for God Almighty. Critics are always there who sees only the negative side. Have you ever seen a critic successful, they live by pay cheque to pay cheque. You need to teach them about he Abraham Blessings. God wants everyone to be rich, healthy, wealthy and successful. Poverty is a sin.

In the last day wealth will be taken from the wicked and given to godly people.

I wish Dr Mike Murdoch the very best and God will open more doors, which will make the critic more jealous.

I'm sure he'll continue to be wealthy, thanks to morons like you.

Jesus had no place to lay His head. He often did not know where His next meal was coming from, and yet He was the (spiritually) richest Man on earth.

Today, we have turned this upside down to believe that success equals material riches. What a load of hogwash. It's not Scriptural.

In Christ, we are spiritually rich and we need nothing more.

May the Lord rebuke those who willfully and wantonly misuse Scripture for worldly gains.

If we were only spiritually blessed, how would we spread the message aruond the world?

If we only had heavenly blessings, how would we ever feed the hungry or help those around us in need?

Money is neither good or bad. It is amoral.

Only GOD can judge the hearts of those who have and have not.

Personally speaking, I have not risen to that level yet.

you might want to get his FREE BOOK for any donation over 20 $ (HINT) THAT'S NOT FREE

like so many other "prosperity" preachers, Mike is a wolf among the sheep. He exhorts God's people to sin by covetousness and the false belief "gain = godliness". He manipulates crowds by appealing to greed or the flesh. Jesus becomes a geni who appears to grant any/every wish when you rub the magic Bible or speak the "right" incantation.

He is a dangerous man among the Body who is leading way too many astray. He only prospers because a large portion of infantile Christians pay him to say what they want to hear.

Their days are numbered for the LORD Himself has begun the final shaking of all things. Mike serves Mammon, thus his "god" rewards him.

Perhaps "Dr." Mike, after he sells his posh estate, will use some of the proceeds to help feed the poor and spread the Gospel and then buy a less opulent mansion, but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen.

Mike Murdock and his money will perish together, unless he repents! All those who follow this lying prophet will find themselves in a ditch. The promise made to Abraham wasn't about filthy lucre, read your Bible and see what God has said, build your life on Jesus Christ , his words and his finished work!!!

1 Timothy 6:3If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

Murdoch is a con artist and yes, he is a wolf. I gave my life to Christ in a Pentecostal church and they would have this clown come and speak a couple times a year. Not knowing any better, as a baby Christian, I was giving this guy alot of money that I really could not afford. I left the church after about a year and didn't go back to one for about 4 years. Luckily the Lord kept me in His grasp, I still maintained a relationship with him, but my first experience was so bad, I didn't want to go back to church. That's why I get so angry when I see criminals like this guy on tv, they are leading more people away from Christ, then they are to Him.

I am not either Ted... Don't hold your breath, you may not even know the half of it... But, what do I know? I am just the guy who robbed Mike Murdock in 1999... Fine article my friend.

Jesus said, Luke 6:24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation (reward).

The Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit said, 1Tim 6:4-12 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, (supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself). But godliness with contentment is great gain.

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And (having food and raiment let us be therewith content). But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. (For the love of money is the root of all evil): which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, (flee these things); and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Mike money man Murdoch, like so many others with TBN is a FALSE TEACHER, A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.They always use the Old Testament to try and pervert the gospel for their own material gain.He is of the world and carnal people who want what he wants will follow him to Hell. Read your New Testament again.(KJV)

This guy is such a disgusting pig! He continues to make money off of his "gift" of fleecing the flock because they are too biblically illiterate to know any better. I feel sorry for anyone who adheres to the "teachings" of this wolf in sheep's clothing. The "god" that he serves is the god of this world, not the holy and righteous God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that one can only truly know through faith in His only begotten Son JESUS.

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and riches."
Matthew 6v24
