This makes me think of many other Republican senators taking bribes err contributions from corporate lobbyists who receive payback tenfold at the expense of taxpayers. When will the electorate begin to understand that this type of vote purchase undermines the integrity of our elected officials and the only way to defeat it is to not vote for the scoundrels.

Things like this are happening all over the House. Democrats and Republicans are scrambling to try and bring their approval rating back up from the basement. Nice to know they have all this money after they just used ours to bail out Fannie and Freddy and send a record amount overseas to fight AIDS in other countries.

Hmmm, What would one call it if I walked into a bank and forcefully took money to fight poverty in my household?
