Texas A&M's Young Conservatives of Texas held the event which attracted complaints from some students. The organizers encouraged attendees to throw eggs at a photo of Barack Obama.
Some photos from the event are here.

I don't agree with this. If you do not support his policies OR McCain', do not vote for whomever. Does this mean Texas A&M supports this unacceptable behavior? I commend Paul for standing in front of the picture to refrain others from egging. News like this deeply saddens me.

Silly nonsense. Very nice of Paul to interfere with their freedom of expression. Apparently freedom of expression and speech are something that Obama and his followers oppose. Look at what Obama did to the NRA ads because they were "too dangerous". We are entering a time when the government is starting to deem certain speech and expression as dangerous.

Jess -- How do you feel about Sarah Palin being hung in effigy in California -- same sadness? I would hope so, as I agree there are far more beneficial ways to express one's opinions.

This is disappointing how the students would stoop as low as they would to insult someone. It would have been so easy to just put a rally together and ask people not to vote for Obama. I am glad the young man, Paul, stepped in front of the pictures.

As a former student of TAMU, I am embarrassed that the administrators of the university would let something like this happen on campus. It doesn't matter who you vote for on Tuesday - it's a personal matter. Shame on the students who organized this rally - this does not teach tolerance and acceptance, it just divides us more.

Tolerance. Why not tolerate the students' right to express themselves? Completely harmless fun. Liberals are all for freedom of speech until it offends them.
As a former student of TAMU, I would think you've seen worse, but for left-wing causes. I sure did. Such is the blind eye.

During the Saddleback Forum, Sen. Obama’s answer on evil was, in my personal opinion and interpretation of the Bible, theologically correct. Obama said evil does exist and needs to be confronted. He said we won’t eradicate evil from the world completely, however, we should be foot soldiers in the fight against evil.
I believe that it is important that our next President is realistic in where and how to confront terrorism to bring real results in our favor.
We need a wise leader. Obama listens to all sides and wise advisors, decides and executes swift action. During this campaign, Obama was steady and strategic as McCain jumped from tactic to tactic. I am a Christian, a mother and a proud American that served this country in the military and I feel safer with Obama.
With our economic situation.... what is McCain going to do different then Bush? We cannot be a strong military presence in this world if we do not have a strong economic presence.

Freedom of speech. what a wonderful thing! I applaud these students for being so creative. TAMU should not punish these students. Danyah, would this be dividing us if it had been McCain on the poster? no, you would probably say that it is your right to express yourself.

I'm glad they did that because it's nothing compared to what the media does to John McCain and Sarah Palin.

Yes I think if it was McCain everything would be kosher and you would not here about this.
Look at what all the liberal "hippies" do/did from the 60's until present(burning the American flag etc). If you say anything about a liberal you are racist.
Political correctness, liberalism, and illegal immigration will kill this country.
Have you ever noticed how liberals hate this great country of ours......
