Hutchison staying in Senate

Ending the is-she-staying-or-going speculation, Texas' senior U.S. senator, Kay Bailey Hutchison, announced this morning in San Antonio that she's serving out the last two years of her current term. She had promised to vacate the seat. Hutchison challenged incumbent Gov. Rick Perry in this month's gubernatorial primary and lost big.

A politician goes back on a promise or breaks their word.

She is as corrupt as any of them ..... why not stay and steal few extra million for your retirement fund KBH.

I wouldn't be to proud about the healthcare thing. That took him a year and he has a majority in the house and senate. Offshore drilling, I'll believe it when I see it. I wonder what other country he subcontracted it out to. Oh yes and the war on terror. You know the war where he promised to bring troops home and instead stepped up the operations overseas.

So the difference here is if Republican politicians break their promises and lie the conservative voters hold their feet to the fire. Whereas when Obama breaks his promises and lies to the liberal voters, they instead wash his feet and kiss his....
