Our state government must be businesslike. A good business has controls that prevent fraud, embezzlement and corrupt practices. A key control is to move responsibilities around so that one person doesn't have the opportunity to hide his activities from others. After 8 years, it is certainly time for a businesslike government to move another person into the most sensitive job. Call it term limits, call it "check and balances", or call it businesslike controls, it amounts to the same thing. New eyes should have a chance to check the books.
