DALLAS -- Helicopters are flying overhead and trucks are still pulling into the parking area near the large white tent that currently marks the site of the George W. Bush presidential center.
This morning, at 10:30 a.m., the former president, his wife Laura, and more than 2,500 of their closest friends and acquaintances will participate in an official groundbreaking ceremony to kick off development of the center that will include a library, museum and policy institute.
It's called the "Breaking New Ground" ceremony.
Media is already streaming into a little white tent off of the big white tent where the ceremony will be. Don't know if there's a heater in here, but at least the tent is protecting us from the chilly winds blowing outside.
