Sen. Minority Whip John Cornyn has barely settled into his new job as the Number 2 Senate Republican and already there's a report that he should start looking over his shoulder.
Roll Call reports today that the senior Texas senator is likely to draw a primary opponent, only it's not at all clear who that might be. The story quotes Dean Wright, a tea party activist, as saying that there will be a challenger and mentioned one possibility, Atty. Gen. Greg Abbott, who has made no secret of his hopes to be governor.
