Burleson's own Kelly Clarkson will sing at the presidential swearing-in ceremony on the Capitol steps Jan. 21. Beyoncé, Clarkson, and James Taylor will all perform at the inauguration, with Beyoncé singin the National Anthem, Clarkson “My Country Tis of Thee,” and Taylor “America the Beautiful."
“Vice President Biden and I are honored to have these wonderfully talented musical artists perform at the Inaugural ceremony,” President Obama saidin a release from the Presidential Inauguration Committee. “Their music is often at the heart of the American story and speaks to folks across the country.”
