Update on the city's reaction, from spokesman Bill Begley: “We do not comment on pending litigation, but we will say that we are pleased with the federal court’s decision and believe that the state court is the appropriate venue for this case.”
Our original post: U.S. District Judge John McBryde has sent litigation over the city of Fort Worth's pension changes back to State District Court in Fort Worth, where the city initiated it. Two officers representing the interests of the Fort Worth Police Officers Association had filed suit in U.S. District Court.
