Councilman Sal Espino announced on his Facebook page this evening that he's running for City Council again.
"After careful reflection, my family and I have decided to run another campaign for re-election to the FW City Council," he said. "I am in and will file Monday morning. Appreciate the support! We look forward to running a strong campaign to continue to serve our wonderful city!"
Hours earlier, former Fort Worth councilman Jim Lane, who ran an unsuccessful campaign for mayor against Betsy Price in 2011, filed his papers to run for the seat. All incumbents but Espino filed for re-election on the first day of filing a week and a half ago. Espino had said he was undecided about running again.
