Tarrant County cities received $33.9 million in sales tax allocation for June from the Texas Comptroller, up 7.26 percent from last year.
For the calendar year to date, cities saw their allocations rise 6.11 percent to $220.23 million.
Fort Worth’s allocation rose 8.3 percent to $9.1 million for June, and 4.28 percent to $58.48 million year to date.
Arlington’s allocation rose 8 percent to $7.4 million for June, and 11.16 percent to $48.56 million year to date.
Hurst’s allocation dropped 0.97 percent to $1,066,533 for June, and 2.1 percent to $7.5 million year to date.
Southlake’s allocation rose 12.37 percent to $1.38 million for June and 9.23 percent to $8.48 million year to date.
