Thirteen voters cast ballots in my precinct (4508) in the first two-and-a-half hours of voting today.
"I'm surprised," said election judge Robert Hayes. Not in a good way.
Hayes says at that rate the tally might not break 50 by the end of voting at 7 p.m.
One of the things that the estimated 92 to 94 percent of eligible voters who didn't vote won't be able to complain about is the fate of a constitutional amendment (one of nine) on financing Texas' water plan with $2 billion from the state's rainy day fund.
Guess it's too rainy for many to vote.
Either way, it's your money.
