In a study that analyzed the population growth, unemployment rate, median income for workers and median monthly homeowner costs, Fort Worth ranks as the third best city for job seekers.
It was beat by Austin, ranked No. 1, and Washington D.C., according to the study released by NerdWallet, a company that uses data to predict a number of things, including good investments and good deals, according to its website.
The study, published Jan. 7, asked the following questions:
1. Are jobs available?
2. Is the city growing?
3. Can you afford to live there?
San Antonio ranked 10th, Dallas was 13th and Arlington placed 16th.
Forbes wrote an article about the results Jan. 10.
