American Airlines today issued an updated policy on ticket refunds and changes for travelers who had flights booked to Japan they wish to cancel or alter due to the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear plant accidents.
Customers eligible for refunds may now have them made to their original form of payment. Ticket change fees will be waived for one ticket change.
To change travel dates or for questions regarding refunds or destination changes, customers are urged to contact their travel agency or American’s reservations staff at 1-800-433-7300 within the United States or Canada. Japanese-speaking callers can call 1-800-237-0027 from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight (Central Time) daily.

Five gallons per hour isn't so bad. Why can't the sailors just form a bucket brigade? Or they could stop it with chewing gum. Nothing to worry about -- just keep building.
" the crack was due to faulty design, bad metal or faulty workmanship ". Regardless of the cause, LOCKHEED is responsible. It happened on the FIRST sea trials == make them pay for the repairs. And have somebody from LOCKHEED's competitors do the inspection and final acceptance of those repairs (at LOCKHEED's expense).
