Union files complaint against Bell Helicopter with labor board

The union representing the 100 or so parts and material buyers whose jobs Bell Helicopter wants to move to Amarillo has already taken steps to try and block the company's action.

United Auto Workers Local 317 just issued a press release saying it has filed an unfair labor practice complaint against Bell Helicopter Textron with the National Labor Relations Board in Fort Worth. The union says it's complaint argues the company's action violates federal labor law and moving the jobs to the non-union Amarillo plant is"part of a scheme to destroy the union."
