Monday Midday Must-Reads

-The battle in Houston is heating up and apparently includes free gifts, according to this Houston Chronicle report. At a luncheon in Houston last week, Southwest was giving out $50 flight vouchers to those who attended the State of the City lunch, which included some city employees. No sanctions will be handed out, the city attorney said in the article.

-USA Today takes a closer look at the Boeing 737 MAX and what makes it different from its predecessors (less fuel burn...) in this article.
