Fort Worth chef Tim Love's Love Shack burger restaurant is landing at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.
The Love Shack is one of several concessionaires that the airport plans to open in its renovated terminals B and E in the next few years. Dallas-based Sonny Bryan Smokehouse, 7-Eleven and Wing Stop will also be added to the terminals.
At a committee meeting on Tuesday, airport staff gave its lease recommendations to the board for 22 different food and retail locations throughout the two terminals. The renovations are part of the airport's $1.9 billion terminal redevelopment program that will continue for the next six years.
Passengers, however, will have to wait for the new concessions which are slated to open between 2013 and 2015 depending on the renovation schedule.
The airport's full board will vote on the retail and restaurant recommendations at its meeting on Thursday.
