Dispatchers reach tentative agreement with American Eagle

The dispatchers at American Eagle have reached a tentative agreement with the regional carrier.

The Transport Workers Union, who represents the dispatchers, said a deal was reached on Monday afternoon and will be sent to members for a ratification vote.

"This TA reflects considerable differences from both the original March term sheet and the Company’s 1113 term sheets filed with the Bankruptcy Court, including no pay cuts and no pay freezes. Upon ratification and court approval, these deals provide for pay increases in 2015 and 2016 and an enhanced profit sharing plan for our members," the union said on its website.

The dispatchers were the last group to reach a tentative agreement with American Eagle. Its mechanics and ground school instructors are in the process of voting on their tentative agreements which were reached last week.
