Monday Midday Must-Reads

-Travelers are dealing with delays on Monday, particularly in East Coast airports, as the Federal Aviation Administration implements budget cuts that have furloughed air traffic controllers. USA Today reports Newark airport was among the first airports to suffer "traffic management" delays.

-The Associated Press took a look at investors who have stuck with Boeing's stock while the manufacturer dealt with battery issues on its 787 Dreamliner. "Anyone who bought 100 Boeing shares at the January low of $73.65 is sitting on again of $1,431, or 19 percent," the wire service says.

-And if you ever wondered what the chances are of an airline losing your bag, this nifty graphic by Boldface shows travelers how large airports are more likely to lose your luggage than a small one.
