American 777-300ER aircraft collided with wing of 757 at JFK Airport

An American Airlines 777-300ER wing-tip collided with the wing of an American 757 at New York's JFK Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

American spokeswoman Andrea Huguely said the incident occurred while the 777 was being towed to the gate.

"There were no passengers on either plane," Huguely said, adding that no employees were injured in the incident.

A photo of the aircrafts was posted by blinkidy on Reddit, showing the damaged wingtip.
