New CEO of DFW Airport could be announced as soon as Thursday

Dallas/Fort Worth Airport may name its new chief executive as early as Thursday.

According to the board agenda posted on the airport's website, the board will be meeting on Thursday morning to discuss the selection of a new CEO for the airport. DFW Airport's current chief executive Jeff Fegan plans to retire on September 1.

The agenda includes two action items for the board to "approve the appointment and employment of the chief executive officer" and to "approve compensation" for the new CEO.

Airport spokesman David Magana declined to comment beyond the agenda items.
