Monday Midday Must-Reads

-Airlines are getting in on the Cyber Monday sales action, offering discounts on airfares while some travel sites, like Priceline, are holding sales. USA Today has a nice round-up of the sales here.

-U.S. airlines are notifying Chinese authorities about flight plans when they are traveling through an air defense zone in the East China Sea, according to this report from CBS News. American, United and Delta have all complied with Chinese requests.

-And from Jaunted, this is definitely the coolest airline billboard ever. British Airways has installed these electronic billboards in London that use GPS technology to change the flight information on the billboard to coordinate with the BA plane that is flying overhead at the time. Could you imagine how often a billboard on Airport Freeway near DFW would have to change for American AIrlines?
