Snow falling at DFW Airport, about a dozen flights cancelled

With snow blowing across the runways at DFW Airport on Thursday morning, operations were minimally impacted.

"Airlines are deicing but there is not a significant impact to our flights," said airport spokesman David Magana.

Only about a dozen flights were cancelled this morning mainly due to weather at other airports. However, several flights were delayed because of deicing operations.

The FAA issued a temporary ground stop for incoming traffic to DFW Airport on Thursday morning since it is taking a little longer for aircraft to leave DFW since they are being deiced.
